“Community Connection” (6:30 a.m., WFMJ-TV 21): The Youngstown Connection, started by Carol Baird, is the pride of the Youngstown school system. Baird will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to reflect on the past 20 years of The Connection and announce an upcoming concert to showcase alumni from the group.

Also, Kelly Donadio and Michele Jones of the Down Syndrome Association of the Valley will discuss the “Buddy Walk” fundraiser, featuring television actor Chris Burke of “Life Goes On.”
