Jessica Slipski to be bride of John Sorvillo

AUSTINTOWN — Announced by John and Joan Slipski of Austintown is the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Ann Slipski of Youngstown, and John L. Sorvillo, also of Youngstown, a son of John and Cathy Sorvillo of Poland.

The bride-to-be graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. She is employed by Reckitt Benckiser as a pharmaceutical representative.

The prospective groom is an outside-sales executive with Pitney Bowes. He graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in cultural geography.

The couple will exchange nuptial vows at noon Oct. 3 during a ceremony that will take place at St. Brendan Church in Youngstown. Their evening reception will be by invitation at The Links at Firestone Farms in Columbiana.
