Events in the cabaret’s relationship with Austintown Township:

July 31, 2007: Austintown Township offers Go Go Cabaret a certificate of occupancy at 5455 Clarkins Drive.

Dec. 27, 2007: Ohio Division of Liquor Control issues Go Go Cabaret a liquor license.

Dec. 22, 2008: Austintown passes resolution objecting the renewal of Go Go Cabaret’s liquor license.

March 16, 2009: Hearing to renew the Go Go Cabaret’s liquor license takes place in Youngstown City Hall.

March 20, 2009: Go Go Cabaret’s appeal of liquor permit renewal is denied.

May 1, 2009: Austintown police raid the Go Go Cabaret and issue restraining order against business.

May 27, 2009: Court ordered Go Go Cabaret to be closed for 90 days effective May 1.

July 31, 2009: Go Go Cabaret allowed to reopen.

Aug. 6, 2009: Federal lawsuit filed by Go Go Cabaret owner Sebastian Rucci against Austintown Township, alleging harassment.
