Mahoning County grand jury indicts two men in shooting

The grand jury indicted 20 people.

YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning County grand jury indicted two men accused of shooting a city man during the commission of a home invasion.

Keith Leon Wade, 20, of Hilton Avenue, and Lorenzo Hilton Jr., 19, of East Judson Avenue, are each charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, felonious assault, attempted murder and illegal possession of a firearm in the shooting of Joseph McClendon of Ravenwood Avenue.

Police say the two men, one carrying a handgun and the other an assault rifle, entered the home. The rifleman shot McClendon, while his accomplice held a gun on the other occupants. McClendon was in critical condition but survived the attack.

The grand jury also indicted these people:

URyan Burke, 23, Butterfield Circle, Niles, misuse of a credit card.

UAntikqua Anderson, 28, Miami Street, robbery.

UClara J. Olds, 52, Kendis Circle or Ewing Road, Boardman, possession of cocaine.

UFrank Hudson, 37, Willis Avenue, illegal possession of a weapon and carrying a concealed weapon.

UMontrell Gilbert, 29, of Medford Avenue, drug possession.

UWilliam Kerensky, 24, N. Evanston Avenue, felonious assault.

USinearae Opatken, 45, Claridge Drive, Austintown, drug possession.

UMichele Winter, 42, of Northeast River Road, Lake Milton, assault and vandalism.

UBrandy Morrison, 33, of East Auburndale Avenue, identity fraud and illegal use of food stamps.

UDavid Phiffer, 50, of Shehy Street, possession of cocaine.

URodney Smith, 18, of Robinwood Avenue or Martin Luther King Boulevard, illegal possession of a weapon, escape, carrying concealed weapons and possession of cocaine.

UBobby Crockett, 29, of Hudson Avenue, illegal possession of a weapon, escape, carrying concealed weapons and possession of cocaine.

UJeremy Bell, 23, of Trotter Drive, Boardman, burglary.

URodney Bebbs, 32, of Sunshine Avenue, aggravated burglary, felonious assault and illegal possession of a firearm.

UDominic DeFrank, 37, of Florist Street, carrying a concealed weapon.

ULance DeAngelo, 18, of Woodworth Road, Beaver Township, possession of heroin.

UShaun Albert Taylor, 18, of S. Liberty Street, Minerva, trafficking in marijuana.

UEugene Ross Sr., 57, of New Road, Austintown, rape.
