The J will offer dance for children 3-5

YOUNGSTOWN — The Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane, is offering the Youngstown community a Creative Steps dance program for children ages 3-5, which will be taught by Jackie Cunningham of the Ballet Western Reserve.

The program focuses on the fundamentals of dance, incorporating ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and yoga.

There are three sessions for the Friday lessons: Sept. 11-Oct. 2; Oct. 9-30 and Nov. 6-Dec. 4. Three time choices are offered: 10:15-10:45 a.m., 10:45-11:15 a.m., and 11:15-11:45 a.m., all at the J. The cost is $30 for a four-week class.
