Church to host free community corn roast

LIBERTY — Church Hill United Methodist Church, 189 Churchill-Hubbard Road, will host its 4th annual free community corn roast Aug. 15 on the church grounds.

The purpose is to promote community awareness of the programs available at the church.

Serving will be from 4 to 6 p.m., and there will be picnic food, games and testimony. Chris Mowery, youth pastor at Four Mile Run Church, will provide entertainment.
