Soldier from Ohio dies in Iraq

PLYMOUTH, Ohio (AP) — The Department of Defense says a soldier from Ohio has died in Iraq of injuries sustained from a noncombat related incident.

The military says 19-year-old Army Pvt. Keiffer P. Wilhelm of Plymouth died Aug. 4 in Maysan Province. The circumstances surrounding his death are under investigation.

Wilhelm was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 13th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, Fort Bliss, Texas.
