Community Day event at Darlington Park

NEW CASTLE, Pa. — Mahoning Business Association and the City of New Castle are sponsoring a Mahoningtown Community Day Sunday at Darlington Park.

Events begin with a worship service at 10:30 a.m. Also scheduled are train rides from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., a flag-raising ceremony at 11:30 a.m., music by the Dante DiThomas Orchestra from noon to 1:30 p.m., Paradox from 2 to 3:30, a performance by St. Marguerite’s Blue Coat Band from 4 to 5:30, and entertainment by the Lawrence County Community Band from 6 to 7:30.
