WEDNESDAY

• American Legion Post 290, state Route 14, Columbiana: Kitchen is open to the public from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays. Tonight is wing night from 6 to 9. Friday, all-you-can-eat fish, macaroni and cheese, fries, coleslaw, dessert and beverage meals from 4 to 7, cost $10 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. Takeouts available. • Southington United Methodist Church, state Route 305 at 534, Southington, will have a chicken dinner from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Meals include 1‚Ñ4 chicken, scalloped potatoes, green beans applesauce, coleslaw and homemade desserts. The cost is $7.50 for adults. Children’s meals feature chicken tenders and cost $4. Those 3 and under eat free. Carryouts will be available. Call the church at (330) 898-2156 and meals will be ready for pickup.

THURSDAY

• Poland United Methodist Church, 1940 Boardman Poland Road, Poland, will have take-out dinners available from 4 to 6 p.m. (or until sold out). The cost is $6. No need to preorder or get out of the car. Just drive to the front of the church and your meal of baked stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and green beans will be ready.

FRIDAY

• Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $9 for adults and $4.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at (330) 792-1005.

• Jerusalem Baptist Church, 2003 Wilson Ave., will serve fish dinners from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Meals include cake and pop, and two sides, macaroni and cheese, green beans or coleslaw. The cost is $8. Chicken dinners will also be available. Deliveries are possible.

• St. Anthony Church, 1125 Turin Ave., Youngstown, will be selling pizza and other Italian treats. Orders may be placed by calling (330) 746-9577 from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. and must be picked up by 1 p.m.

SATURDAY

• VFW Post 3307 Auxiliary, 1351 Albert St., Youngstown, will serve spaghetti dinners from 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday. The meal will include meatballs, salad and bread, and the cost is $5 for adults and $2.50 for children. Containers for carryouts will be furnished; call (330) 746-8113.

TAKING ORDERS

UPCOMINg

• Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave. Extension, North Lima, will sell drive-through homemade chicken dinners from 4 to 6 p.m. (or until sold out) August 13. Dinners include baked stuffed chicken, baked potato, green beans and a brownie. The cost is $6. Drive up to the door and a volunteer will take the meal to your car.

• Southington American Legion Post 751 will serve fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Aug. 15 at the post, 3145 Warren-Burton Road, Southington. Meals include french fries, green beans, coleslaw, beverages and dessert. The donation is $7.50 for adults and $5.50 for children from 5 to 12.

• VFW Triangle Post 2799 Auxiliary, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve spaghetti dinners with meatballs, salad, bread and coffee or tea from 4 to 7 p.m. Aug. 13. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12. Carryouts are $6.25.
