Pa. man gets prison term in infant’s death
POTTSVILLE, Pa. (AP) — A man who pleaded guilty in the death of a 6-month-old infant last year has been sentenced to five to 11 1/2 years in state prison.
President Judge William E. Baldwin sentenced 23-year-old Kyle Bluge, of Frackville, to 63 to 138 months today.
The former New Ringgold resident pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and endangering the welfare of children.
Prosecutors say the infant suffered brain hemorrhaging and two retinal tears when he was shaken in April 2008.
