Ohio man indicted in deaths of woman, children
CINCINNATI, Ohio (AP) — A Cincinnati man has been indicted on three counts of capital murder in the deaths of a teen mother, her infant son and a 3-year-old girl she was baby-sitting.
Mark Pickens, 19, is accused in the June slayings of former girlfriend, 19-year-old Noelle Washington, Anthony Jones III and Sha’Railyn Wright.
Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters said Tuesday the girl was shot through her hands as she covered her head moments after Washington and her son also were shot in the head.
Deters says Washington had filed a rape charge against Pickens and that he likely did not want her to testify.
Pickens faces arraignment Friday.
