Babe Ruth team finishes fourth

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — Youngstown Babe Ruth 13-year-old all-stars finished with a 4-2 record, good for fourth place, at the Ohio Valley Regional.

In its final two games, Youngstown defeated Harrison County (W. Va.), 12-2, before losing to South Lexington (Ky.) 14-13.

Against Harrison County, Jake Pishotti got the win, pitching four innings, allowing three hits and two runs.

Harrison Wagner, Edmond Pilolli, Phil DiIanni and Denver Martin all had two hits for Youngstown and Drew Beck had three RBIs.

Against South Lexington, Tyler Spain had three hits, including a triple, and three RBIs. Wagner added a triple and single, while Edmond Pilolli had a double, single and three RBIs.

Denver Martin hit a triple and a double, while Drew Beck had two singles and two RBIs, and Zach Kuchmaner had two hits.
