CANFIELD
July 24
Falsification: Police arrested a 39-year-old Canton man, a passenger in a vehicle stopped at East Main Street, for giving a false name and age during a traffic stop.
July 26
Crowd disturbance: Canfield police assisted Austintown police and the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Department at The Wedge, 1743 S. Raccoon Road, at a large crowd disturbance. Once local police arrived the crowd was under control and dispersing, but officers assisted paramedics inside the club where they were attending to a female and some of the crowd was uncooperative.

July 27
Criminal damaging: A vehicle window was broken at Patrick’s Service, 58 N. Meridian Road.
Criminal mischief: A vehicle was egged at apartments in the 1000 block of Compass West apartments.
Breaking and entering: Computer equipment was stolen from the office of Atty. Warren Pritchard, 296 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Breaking and entering: An unattached garage was broken into at a home in the 4000 block of Fitzgerald Avenue and stolen was a Snapper push lawn mower and a toilet and vanity.
Menacing: A woman is accused of menacing at a home in the 80 block of South Raccoon Road.
Lost or stolen: A Beretta .22-caliber pistol was lost or stolen from an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Theft: $42 in gasoline was stolen from Country Fair, 1145 N. Niles-Canfield Road.
Counterfeit currency: A counterfeit $20 bill was passed at McDonald’s, 1709 S. Raccoon Road.
Fraud: A credit card was accessed at a home in the 1000 block of Eastwind Place.
Forgery: A woman reported funds were removed from her savings account and placed in a joint checking account by use of forgery. Checks were also forged to draw funds on the joint checking account at an apartment in the 800 block of North Meridian Road.
July 28
Theft: A man was issued a summons for theft at I-80 Video, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.
Breaking and entering: A fenced-in rear yard was entered and a four-wheeler stolen at a home in the 2000 block of North Redgate Lane.
Burglary: Coins, a camera, a cell phone and sunglasses were stolen from a home in the 100 block of North Navarre Avenue.
Theft: A Hewlett-Packard Pavilion laptop computer was not returned at Bits, Bytes and Pieces, 5620 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Solar lights were stolen from the driveway of a home in the 500 block of North Turner Road.
Aggravated robbery: A male suspect displayed a handgun in a robbery of an undetermined amount of cash and a quart of oil at Advanced Auto Parts, 4801 Mahoning Ave.
Disorderly conduct: A man was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 600 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: A pool cue and case were stolen at The Breakers, 5560 W. Webb Road.
Burglary: Several small items were taken at a home in the 3000 block of Lynnhaven Drive.
July 29
Theft: A sign was stolen at New Road and Countryside Drive.
Theft: A tire was stolen from an auto at a home in the 4000 block of Rhode Island Drive.
Burglary: Nothing was reportedly taken at a break-in at an apartment in the 900 block of Compass West apartments.
Telecommunications harassment: An unknown caller was making harassing phone calls at a home in the 60 block of North Edgehill Avenue.
July 30
Breaking and entering: An unattached garage was broken into and four motorcycles were stolen in the 6000 block of Fairview Road. Two cycles were recovered.
Theft: A CD player and hospital pager were stolen from a vehicle at a home in the 100 block of North Raccoon Road.
Recovered property: A purse was recovered at Walgreen’s, 3800 Tippecanoe Road.
Recovered property: A ladies ring was recovered at Woodside Elementary School, 4105 Elmwood Ave.
Criminal damaging: A house was egged and a garage light broken at a home in the 6000 block of Ruby Court.
July 31
Disorderly conduct: A man was arrested for disorderly conduct at the intersection of Mahoning Avenue and Idaho Road.
Animal complaint: A loose pit bull was reported in the 3000 block of Redgate Lane.
Theft: A compact-disc player was stolen from an auto at a home in the 300 block of North Yorkshire Boulevard.
Theft: Cash was stolen from a room at Briarfield Nursing Home, 5291 Ashley Circle.
Breaking and entering: A Kawasaki motorcycle was stolen at Austintown Pawn, 3700 Mahoning Ave.
Breaking and entering: A Suzuki motorcycle was stolen from Austintown Pawn.
Theft: A suspect bought merchandise with a stolen check at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Personal checks were stolen and then cashed at a home in the 3000 block of Timber Lane.
Menacing: A woman is a suspect in menacing at Chase Bank, 4243 Mahoning Ave.
Telecommunications harassment: A man is a suspect in telecommunications harassment at a home in the 6000 block of Ridgeview Drive.
Theft: A male juvenile was arrested for theft at Walgreen’s, 5501 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: The window and an entrance door to a residence were smashed out at a home in the 40 block of North Yorkshire Boulevard.
Theft: A license plate was stolen from an auto parked at apartments in the 900 block of Compass West apartments.
Assault: A man is accused of assault at Rumors Lounge, 104 N. Meridian Road.

Theft: One hundred gallons of diesel fuel was stolen from a vehicle parked at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Fraud: A fraudulent Internet transaction, which cost $3,300, was reported at a home in the 2000 block of Ardenwood Place.
Theft: A laptop was dropped off for repairs but was never returned at Bits, Bytes and Pieces, 5462 Mahoning Ave.
Assault: A male was punched in the face by another male in the parking lot at O’Donold’s, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A woman shoplifted items and then fled in a car at Dollar General, 1739 S. Raccoon Road.
Criminal damaging: A man is a suspect in damaging his ex-girlfriend’s property at a home in the 4000 block of New Road.

Open container: Police issued a summons to a man for having an open container of alcohol at The Wedge, 1743 S. Raccoon Road.
