Caulton guilty

YOUNGSTOWN — The man accused of gunning down another man in front of hundreds of spectators at a little league football game has been found guilty.

Jurors reached a verdict in less than two hours for Anthony Caulton, 27, of East Auburndale Avenue Caulton fatally shot Larry D. Jones, 31, of Ravenwood Avenue, in 2006 at the former South High Stadium football field during a youth football game.

He is facing life imprisonment, and will be sentenced Tuesday afternoon by Visiting Judge Thomas Curran.
