Trexlers honored on anniversary at picnic in Canfield
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Trexler
BOARDMAN — Mr. and Mrs. Richard Trexler, 742 Brookfield Drive, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary during a picnic on May 31 at the home of a daughter and son-in-law, Frank and Marcia Turocy in Canfield.
Also serving as hosts for the event were their other children and their spouses, Mark and Paulette Trexler of Burghill, Maria and James Rutana of Poland, and Melanie and David Flath of Wadsworth; their grandchildren and their spouses, Megan and Kyle Brown, Frank and Paula Turocy, Andrew Turocy, Jared Turocy, Derek Turocy, Jessica Rutana and Danielle Rutana; and their great-grandchild, Makayla Brown.
The former Mary Ann Macek and Mr. Trexler were married on May 30, 1959, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Campbell. They are members of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church in Campbell.
Mrs. Trexler retired as an executive secretary from the American Cancer Society in Canfield.
Mr. Trexler served with the U.S. Air Force from 1957 to 1961. He is retired after having been employed as a millwright by WCI Steel in Niles, Republic Steel, Sheet and Tube, and other local steel mills.
