Reception honors the Willisons for 50th anniversary

COLUMBIANA — Mr. and Mrs. Jack Willison, 4208 W. South Range Road, gathered July 19 with their family and friends in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.

The couple were honored during a reception at St. Michael parish hall in Canfield hosted by their children and their spouses, Jack Willison III and his wife, Celeste, of Canfield; and Diane Fusco and her husband, Ken, of Salem.

The Willisons also have five grandchildren: J.C. Willison, Chelsea Willison, Shawn Fusco, Renee Fusco, and Carly Fusco.

The anniversary couple renewed their vows on June 14 at St. Columba Cathedral as the Rev. George V. Murry, bishop of the Diocese of Youngstown, presided.

Mrs. Willison is a homemaker, and Mr. Willison retired in 2002 from McHenry Industries in Youngstown.

St. Matthias Church in Youngstown was the setting on July 11, 1959, when the former Dee Venosky and Mr. Willison were united in marriage.
