Martins honored at anniversary dinner party

BOARDMAN — Mr. and Mrs. Frank Martin, 32 Gertrude Ave., were the guests of honor as their 50th wedding anniversary was celebrated with family and friends at a dinner party on July 13 at the Mama Q Room of Caff Capri.

Invitations for the event were extended by their children, Frank (Jill) Martin of Boardman, Dave (Angell) Martin of Chagrin Falls, Dan (Kristen) Martin of Sinking Springs, Pa., and Anthony (Rosanna) Martin of Chagrin Falls. There are nine grandchildren in the family.

St. Lucy Church in Campbell was the setting on July 11, 1959, as Mr. Martin and the former Edith Falasco were united in marriage. They are members of St. Charles Church.

Mrs. Martin was employed 27 years at J.C. Penney in Southern Park Mall, where she retired as a credit and catalog supervisor.

Mr. Martin was a works accounting storeroom clerk with Youngstown Sheet and Tube in Campbell prior to retiring after 20 years of service.
