CANFIELD — Jennifer Ventresco, a daughter of Jerry and Nancy Ventresco of Austintown, and Ryan Rager, a son of Walter and Colleen Rager of Austintown, were married Nov. 1, 2008, during a 1:30 p.m. ceremony at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church.
The couple accepted congratulations at a reception at Ciminero’s Banquet Centre in Niles before leaving on a wedding trip to Tennessee. They live in Austintown.
The bride graduated from Mercy College of Northwest Ohio, St. Elizabeth Campus in Youngstown with an associate degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse in the progressive cardiac care unit at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown.
The groom, a sales associate at Home Depot in Austintown, attended Youngstown State University.
The bride wore a strapless candlelight satin gown with a sweetheart neckline, beaded bodice, corset back and a train.
Wine colored gowns with rose sashes were worn by the honor attendant, Carlie Sherhag, and the bridesmaids, Betsy Tiger, Annette Hinrichs, and Lisa Hixson. Flower girl was Lydia Schaeffer.
Serving as best man was Adam Kyle, and groomsmen were Scott Alleman, Mark Hixson, and the groom’s brother, Aaron Rager. Ring bearer was Ty Ventresco, a cousin of the bride.
