Gunmen rob delivery driver

YOUNGSTOWN — Police said a driver for a Belmont Avenue restaurant was robbed at gunpoint as he tried to make a delivery in the 1900 block of Elm Street.

The victim, a 25-year-old Liberty Township man, told police that two men confronted him as he arrived at the delivery address around 11:30 p.m. Friday.

They took his 9 mm semiautomatic handgun, his cell phone and $340 cash, he told police.
