Orthopedic surgery
Jason Davis, a 1996 graduate of Boardman High School, has completed his five-year residency in orthopedic surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
This past year, he served as chief resident and was awarded the honorary Jan Rival M.D. Award given to the most outstanding resident in the health system.
Dr. Davis graduated magna cum laude from Mount Union College in Alliance and attended medical school at the University of Toledo, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
He is married to Jenette Fredal of Sterling Heights, Mich. They have recently moved to Boston, where Dr. Davis will be pursuing a one-year fellowship in joint replacement at the New England Baptist Orthopaedic Hospital.
He is the son of Tom and Kathie Davis of Boardman and the grandson of the late Bob and Dee Phillips.
Dermatology residency
Marc Goodman, son of Atty. Richard and Linda Goodman of Liberty, has completed his dermatology and cutaneous surgery residency at Broward General Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., where he also served as chief resident.
Dr. Goodman completed his undergraduate studies at Ohio State University, earned his medical degree from Midwestern University, Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Ariz., and completed his internship in Tampa, Fla.
Dr. Goodman and his wife, Tracy, are living in Portland, Ore.
Osteopathic medicine
Andrew Razzano of Massillon, formerly of Niles, was one of the 104 students who received a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens.
The son of Andy and Carrie Razzano of Niles, Dr. Razzano also earned an undergraduate degree from Ohio University and is a graduate of Niles McKinley High School.
He is participating in an internship/residency in orthopedic surgery at Affinity Medical Center in Massillon.
