Police investigate South side shooting

YOUNGSTOWN — Police are investigating an evening shooting on the city’s South side.

Police said that just after 8 p.m. Wednesday a man was shot at a house in the 400 block of W. Princeton Avenue.

The victim, whose identity was unknown Wednesday night, was reportedly shot twice in the arm.

Police said he was conscious and talking to officers on scene. He was taken to St. Elizabeth’s Health Center with injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening.
