Girard police arrest pair for armed robbery

GIRARD — City police have arrested two men believed to be responsible for an armed robbery at a city convenience store last week.

Ryan Lamar Davis, 18, and Darell L. Lowe, 19, both of Youngstown, have been arraigned in Girard Municipal Court and are in Trumbull County Jail on $100,000 bond each. Both will be back in Girard Municipal Court for a preliminary hearing Monday.

Davis was arrested Tuesday and Lowe was arrested Wednesday. Both men, said police Chief Jeffrey Palmer, surrendered to Detective Greg Manente and the Mahoning County Law Enforcement Task Force Fugitive and Gang Unit.
