YOUNGSTOWN — The Children’s Center for Science & Technology, 139 E. Boardman St., previously The Children’s Museum of the Valley, is announcing that it will be closed to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 4-8, 11-14, 19-20 to accommodate the STEM Program.

The science, technology, engineering, and mathematics program is funded by the Ohio Board of Regents and is designed to offer 500 fourth-grade students from Youngstown City School District hands-on experience in science so students develop skills that empower them to participate in an increasingly scientific and technological world.
