REUNIONS | Former classmates plan to meet

• East High School January and June Classes of 1943 will have a reunion at 1 p.m. May 16 at Johnny’s in Boardman. Reservations must be made by May 12 to Mike Ivko at (330) 746-5826 or Netta Soriano at (330) 788-2376.

• Gustavus-Badger Alumni Banquet will take place May 16 at the Joseph Badger School, south of Kinsman on state Route 7. A social hour will begin at 6 p.m., and a Swiss steak dinner will be served at 7. Honor classes are the graduating class of 2009; Class of 1984, 25 years; Class of 1959, 50 years; and Class of 1949, 60 years. The cost is $10 per person, dues included. All graduates of Gustavus High School and graduates of Joseph Badger School who lived in Gustavus Township, or those who attended Gustavus School and lived in Gustavus Township, are welcome. • Hartford-Badger Alumni Association will have its 122nd Annual Alumni Banquet at 6 p.m. May 9 at Joseph Badger High School, 7119 state Route 7, Kinsman. The price is $15. • Cleveland’s John Adams High School A and B classes of 1959 will have a 50th reunion Aug. 21 and 22. The festivities will take place at the Executive Caterers of Landerhaven, in Mayfield Heights. The weekend-long event kicks off with an informal gathering on Aug. 21 at 6:30 p.m. and continues with a formal get-together at 7 p.m. Aug. 22.
