Consumer workshop


SALEM— Salem Public Library will sponsor a free workshop on ”Protecting Yourself Against Identity Theft and Consumer Fraud” at 2 p.m. May 6 in the Quaker Room of the library.

Presented by the Ohio Attorney General’s Office of Consumer Protection, the topics will include: Ohio consumer laws, deceptive advertising, predatory lending, home improvement scams, identity theft, credit repair scams, job opportunity scams, dealing with debt collectors, and how to deal with consumer problems.
