Bankers Club closing
CINCINNATI (AP) — A downtown club that Cincinnati’s movers and shakers once lined up to join is closing.
The Bankers Club, which business leaders used for more than six decades as a place to meet, eat and entertain, can no longer sustain membership.
The club was formed shortly after World War II at a hotel that was later razed, and has occupied the 30th floor of the Fifth Third Bank building since 1970.
Members have been notified that the club’s 63-year run will end June 27.
