Thumans to mark 50th with dinner hosted by children

WARREN — Skip and Mo Thuman, 250 Carolewood Circle NW, plan to celebrate their 50th anniversary at a dinner with family and invited guests on May 23 at St. William Church Social Hall in Champion.

Hosts of the occasion are the couple’s children, Michael and Karen Thuman of Richmond, Ind.; and Kathleen and Atty. Jeffrey DeCristofaro of Haddenfield, N.J. Their family includes three grandchildren.

Mr. Thuman and the former Maureen Fanning were married May 30, 1959, at St. Joseph Church in Buffalo, N.Y. They are members of St. William Church.

Mrs. Thuman teaches part time as an adjunct instructor at Kent State Trumbull since retiring from KSU in 2005 after 20 years.

She is president of the Women’s Guild at St. William’s.

Mr. Thuman retired in 1995 as an operations officer for the Federal Aviation Administration in Cleveland. He served in the Air Force during the early 1950s, including the Korean War.
