Parents announce D’Amico-Mikolich wedding plans

The engagement and upcoming marriage of Kara R. D’Amico, daughter of Kathleen A. and Michael A. D’Amico, all of 4508 Clearview Drive, Canfield, and Brandon M. Mikolich, of 32 Waterfront Drive, Pittsburgh, son of Dr. T. Ronald and Dr. Lynn M. Mikolich of 38 Audubon Road, is announced by their parents.

The couple will be united in marriage during an open 6 p.m. June 13 ceremony at Holy Family Church, Poland. A reception will follow by invitation at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman.

The bride-elect graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s in early childhood education. She is employed by Canfield Local Schools as a kindergarten teacher at C.H. Campbell Elementary School and is a girls junior varsity volleyball coach at Canfield High School.

The future groom is an interventional cardiology fellow with Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. He graduated from Villanova University in Villanova, Pa., with a bachelor’s degree and from MCP Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia with an M.D. degree.
