May nuptials set for Kristen Rupert and Michael Hoops

AUSTINTOWN — Ken and Linda Rupert of Austintown announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Kristen Dianne Rupert, to Michael David Hoops, son of Dave Hoops of Niles and Lee Ann Wallace of Austintown.

Miss Rupert earned a master’s degree in social work from Youngstown State University. She is employed as a mental health therapist with Allied Behavioral Health Services in Austintown.

Mr. Hoops earned a bachelor’s degree in civil and construction engineering technology from Youngstown State University. He is employed as a field engineer with Profile Energy in Canfield.

The couple will be joined in matrimony on May 23 during a 1:30 p.m. ceremony at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park. Invitations will be extended for an evening reception at A La Cart in Canfield.
