Crumps celebrate 60th with dinner, riverboat cruise

YOUNGSTOWN — Mr. and Mrs. William E. Crump of Youngstown celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at a private dinner and theater cruise April 25 on a Gateway Clipper riverboat in Pittsburgh.
The hosts for the festivities were their children, Wayne Crump of Youngstown; Michael and Kathleen Crump of Liberty; Kenneth and Sheri Crump, Beverly Crump, and Christopher and Deborah Crump, all of Columbus. The couple have 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Crump and the former Manola Mae Barnes were united in marriage April 25, 1949, in Booneville, Miss. On April 10, 1999, the couple renewed their vows for their 50th wedding anniversary during a ceremony at the former Faith Temple Pentecostal Church.
Mr. Crump was employed many years at Bliss Manufacturing Co., where he retired in 1993.
Mrs. Crump is the pastor emeritus of the former Faith Temple Pentecostal Church of Youngstown, where she retired in June of 1999.
The Crumps are active members of the New Beginnings Outreach Ministry Church.
To further celebrate their anniversary, the couple will go on a seven-day Caribbean cruise with stops in the Grand Cayman Islands; Belize; the Isle of Roatan; and Cozumel, Mexico, a gift from their children.
