3 Youngstown women charged with soliciting

YOUNGSTOWN — Police working a vice detail for prostitution along Hillman Street arrested three women on charges of soliciting and possession of drug paraphernalia within a span of about 90 minutes.
Officers in an unmarked car said they were approached by a woman identified as Tara Williams, 34, of West Princeton Avenue, at Hillman and LaClede Avenue around 6:15 p.m. Friday.
At 7 p.m., the officers said they were approached at Hillman and Kenmore Avenue by a woman they identified as Shaneeh Y. Battles, 37, of Rush Boulevard.
At 7:50 p.m., the officers said they were approached at Hillman and Chicago Avenue by a woman identified as Donna M. Eldredge, 42, of West LaClede Avenue.
Police said each woman offered to perform a sex act for $20 and was arrested for soliciting.
Officers also said they found a crack pipe in a pocket of each woman’s clothing, resulting in drug-paraphernalia charges.
Williams and Eldredge were each given a summons to appear in court Monday.
Police said Battles also had an outstanding warrant on a charge of criminal trespass.
She was lodged in Mahoning County Jail to await arraignment Monday.
