Hundreds share rmemories of Idora

YOUNGSTOWN — Hundreds of people turned out today at Mill Creek Park for a remembrance of Idora Park which closed in 1984.

Sunday marks the 25th anniversary of a devastating fire at the park that destroyed, among other things, the Wildcat roller coaster, a major attraction at the park.

Many of those at the remembrance event had their own stories to tell of childhood days spent at the entertainment center.
