Warren woman beaten up in her apartment
WARREN — Police are investigating a beating suffered by a 29-year-old woman living in the Hampshire House apartments Wednesday afternoon at the hands of several other women.
The woman told police her ex-boyfriend came to the apartment at Fifth Street Southwest and got angry when he saw another man there.
The man bit her on the neck and left, saying he was going to “send some people over” to the apartment.
Three females showed up about 15 minutes later, at about 2:50 p.m., broke into the apartment through a locked door, and one of the women kicked the resident in the face as she was sitting on the couch.
The attacker then kicked the victim several more times in the face, knocking out a tooth and causing other injuries, police said.
Four other unidentified women entered the apartment, and the victim’s head was knocked through a wall. The victim was advised to go to the hospital because she was spitting up blood. Police did not file any charges.
