4th daylight shooting in city

YOUNGSTOWN — A man was shot multiple times around 6 p.m. on the 200 block of Hilton Avenue on the city’s South Side.

The victim, whose name has not yet been released, was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center with non-life-threatening wounds, police said.

This is the fourth shooting in the city during daylight hours within the past nine days.
