WEDNESDAY

• American Legion Post 290, state Route 14, Columbiana, kitchen is open to the public from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays. Among the specials are: Today, wings from 6 to 9 p.m.; and Saturday, steak fry from 5 to 8 p.m. Meal includes baked potato, salad and Texas toast. The cost is $14. FRIDAY

• American Legion Post 560, 103 Twelfth St., Campbell, will sponsor a fish and shrimp fry from noon to 6 p.m. at the post home. The menu will feature fresh ocean perch or shrimp, macaroni and cheese or french fries, coleslaw or haluski, bread and coffee. Meals are $7 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. • Heritage Presbyterian Church, 1951 Mathews Road, Boardman, will serve a chili dinner from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Prices are as follows: $2.50 for a bowl of chili, $1 for a refill,$4 for a quart; $2 for a slice of pie, $7 for a whole pie, 50 cents for a beverage with a free refill, and $5 for a dinner of chili, Italian bread and crackers, pie and beverage.

• Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday and from 8 :30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday at (330) 755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Orders may be picked up from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday. Patrons are asked to provide containers.

• Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $9 for adults and $4.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at (330) 792-1005.

• Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will be selling potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $5 a dozen. Orders should be placed from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday at (330) 746-9528. and are to be picked up between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Friday. Hot Lunches will be available beginning at 11 a.m. Friday.

• St. Anthony Church, 1125 Turin Ave., Youngstown, will be selling pizza and other Italian treats. Orders may be placed by calling (330) 746-9577 from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. and must be picked up by 1 p.m.

• Potato, prune and kraut pirogi will be sold at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell. Cost is $4.50 a dozen. Phone orders may be made beginning at 8 a.m. at (330) 755-1316, and orders can be picked up beginning at noon. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers. No walk-in orders will be available.

• St. Luke Church, 5235 South Ave., Boardman, will bake Italian-style red and white pizza. Phone orders will be accepted at (330) 788-0025 between 9-11:30 a.m. only. Pickup will be until 1 p.m. Price is $6 for regular or Brier Hill pizza, and $5 for white pizza.

• St. Paul the Apostle Church, Main Street, New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi. Orders can be called to (330) 542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.

• St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. Advance orders will be taken at (330) 747-3024 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 8 to 11 Friday, based upon availability. Pickup will be by 1 p.m. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers and use the side entrance. SATURDAY

• Austintown Community Church, 242 S. Canfield Niles Road, will host an all-you-can-eat Amish dinner buffet featuring entre s of chicken and roast beef at the church hall. Seatings will be at 4 p.m. and at 6 p.m. The cost is $12 for adults, $6 for children 4 to 12, and free for those 3 and under. • Campbell City Fest Committee will sponsor a pancake, sausage, orange juice, and coffee or tea breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Campbell Community Center in Roosevelt Park. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children 7 to 12. Those 6 and under eat free. Carryouts available. There will be a 50-50 and basket raffle. • First United Methodist Church of Mineral Ridge, 3711 state Route 46, Mineral Ridge, will serve beef and noodle dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. as a benefit for the building fund of the Liberty Masonic Complex. Meals are $8 for adults, $4 for children 6 to 12, and free for those under 6. Takeouts will be available.

• North Lima Mennonite Church, 90 Mennonite Drive, will sponsor a breakfast buffet from 7:30 to 10 a.m. The all-you-can-eat meal will feature eggs, pancakes, french toast, potatoes, sausage, breakfast rolls, sausage gravy and biscuits, peppers and onions, juice and coffee. • Salem Masonic Temple, 788 E. State St., will sponsor an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet from 7:30 to 10 a.m. The cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children 2 to 10 and free for those under 2. Featured will be pancakes, scrambled eggs, waffles, sausage, bacon, homemade sausage gravy, biscuits, home fries, toast, fruit cocktail, coffee, orange juice and tea. Carryouts will be available. There is a handicapped-accessible elevator.

• Trumbull Community Action Program will sponsor an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon at Warren West Community Center, 1230 Palmyra Road SW, Warren. • The sixth annual Matt Root Memorial spaghetti dinner and raffle will be from 4 to 7 p.m. at the VFW Post 2799 hall on south Range Road in New Springfield. Dinners are $8 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under. Takeouts will be available. Dinner tickets include a raffle of three prizes. There will also be a Chinese auction.

SUNDAY

• Austintown Fitch Band Parents will serve a spaghetti dinner from noon to 6 p.m. at Lucianno’s Banquet Center, 1739 Raccoon Road, Austintown, to benefit the band. Tickets are $7 each.

• Boardman High School Girls Soccer Boosters will serve spaghetti dinners from noon to 5 p.m. at First Covenant Church, corner of Shields Road and Glenwood Avenue. Meals are $6 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. Included will be meatball, salad, beverage and dessert. Takeouts available.

• Boy Scout Troop 105 of North Jackson will be serving “All U Can Eat” pancake and sausage breakfasts from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at North Jackson Elementary School, 14110 Mahoning Ave. The prices are $5.50 for adults, $4 for children 6-12, and free for kids under 5.

• Petersburg Presbyterian Church, 13996 Youngstown-Pittsburgh Road, will sponsor a spaghetti dinner and bake sale from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Donations will be accepted.

• Poland Masonic Temple, 7685 Youngstown/Pittsburgh Road, Poland, will have a Swiss steak dinner from noon to 4 p.m. (or until sold out). The cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children 6 to 12, and free for those 5 and under. Carryouts available.

• Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church, 252 Wood St., will serve spaghetti dinners following 10:30 a.m. Mass and until 2 p.m. at the social hall. Dinners are $6.50 for adults and $4.50 for children 12 and under. There will also be a Chinese auction with drawings beginning at 1:30. Auction tickets will be sold after Mass. They are 3 for $1 or 20 for $5. Winners do not need to be present.

• St. Lucy Altar and Rosary Society will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from noon to 4 p.m. at St. Lucy Parish Center, 394 Tenney Ave., Campbell. Dinners are $8 for adults and $4 for children under 12. Takeout will be available until 3:30. Patrons are asked to provide containers for takeouts.

• Congregation Rodef Sholom, 1119 Elm St., is sponsoring a soup sale to benefit Relay for Life. Mushroom barley soup is available at $10 per quart. The deadline to place orders is Thursday, and pickup will be from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday. To place an order, call (330) 744-5001.

• Girard First United Methodist Church Lydia Circle is taking orders for individual-size ham loaves. The cost is $2 per loaf. Orders may be placed through May 4 by calling the church at (330) 545-4361. Pickup will be between 1 and 4 p.m. May 11.

• Boar’s Head Ladies of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will sponsor a chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 29 at the church. The menu will include salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, bread and butter, pie and beverage. Cost is $6.50, and containers will be provided for takeout orders. No reservations are necessary. • Youngstown American Hungarian Club, 2219 Donald Ave., is taking orders for carryout stuffed cabbage. The cost is $12 a dozen.
