Bisby-Cartwright engagement is being announced

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Jack and Peg Bisby, 518 Powell Drive, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Genevieve Bisby, and Joshua Cartwright, both of 609 Admiral Drive, and plans for the couple’s wedding.

Parents of the future groom are James and Anne Cartwright, 480 Millbrook St., Canfield.

The couple will be united in marriage during an afternoon ceremony on May 30 in Annapolis. The wedding and their reception at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park will be by invitation only.

The bride-elect graduated from Elon College with a bachelor’s degree in education and is pursuing a master’s degree in photography at Towson University. She is a photography teacher at Broadneck High School.

The prospective groom, a U.S. Government teacher at Broadneck High School, earned a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Youngstown State University and a master’s in instruction and curriculum from McDaniel College.
