MAHONING COUNTY

Celtic Healthcare offers hot, nutritious meals at noon weekdays at nine locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance, and transportation is available. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, April 22: Beef tips with gravy and rice, Mexicorn, diced peaches, wheat bread with margarine, apple juice, and milk.

Thursday, April 23: Porcupine meatballs, peas, mashed potatoes, wheat bread with margarine, mandarin oranges, and milk.

Friday, April 24: Breaded fish square, hamburger bun, ketchup, broccoli cuts, diced carrots, mixed fruit, and milk.

Saturday, April 25: Cold cut sandwich on a hamburger bun with mustard and mayonnaise, unsweetened mixed fruit, carrot bag with ranch dressing, and fruit juice.

Monday, April 27: Chicken fingers with barbecue sauce, mashed yams, California mixed vegetables, applesauce, wheat bread with margarine, and milk.

Tuesday, April 28: Hamburger on a bun with ketchup and mustard, cheesy mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, diced pears, and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.25 per meal.

Wednesday, April 22: Beef tips with gravy and rice, Mexicorn, sweetened or unsweetened diced peaches, wheat bread with margarine, apple juice, and milk.

Thursday, April 23: Porcupine meatballs, peas, mashed potatoes, wheat bread with sweetened or unsweetened mandarin oranges, and milk.
