GIRARD — Kristy Wire and Isaac King, both of Bucyrus, were married in a 2 p.m. ceremony May 17, 2008, in St. Rose Church. The Rev. Michael Garvey presided.

A reception followed at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Hall in Youngstown. The bride’s strapless white satin gown featured flower embroidery with crystal beading, a corset back and a chapel train.

Wearing clover-colored gowns were the maid of honor, Jessica Beasley of Hubbard, and bridesmaids Tammy McFarland of Niles; Jessica King-Griffith of Poland, sister of the groom; and Jenny Studer of Vandalia. Gina Griffith of Poland, niece of the groom, and Quinn Rotruck of Attica, cousin of the groom, were flower girls.

Urban Jay Studer of Vandalia, the groom’s cousin, was best man, and groomsmen were Aaron Sanders of Charlotte, N.C., and Bryant Powell of Santa Clarita, Calif., cousins of the groom; Lester Frick of Akron; Steve Wire of Niles, brother of the bride; and Paul Kim of Barberton. Remmington Rotruck of Attica, the groom’s cousin, was ring bearer.

The bride, daughter of Ronald and Kathleen Wire of McDonald, earned an associate degree in applied science from Youngstown State University. She is a registered dental hygienist for Allcare Dental and Dentures in Mansfield.

The groom, son of Roy and Doris King of New Washington, earned a bachelor’s degree in surveying and mapping from the University of Akron. He is a professional surveyor for Makeever & Associates in Bucyrus.
