Free comic books available on May 2


SHARON, Pa. — Worldwide Free Comic Book Day will be celebrated May 2 from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m at Bennie’s Comics and Cards, 462 Sharpsville Ave. The shop and comic book shops across around the world will give away comic books to anyone who comes into their stores on that day. The event is designed to introduce people to the wonder of comic books.

Paul Worley, owner of Bennie’s, says “The wide array of comic books being published today ensures that readers of all ages ... can find something appropriate that will stir their imaginations.”
