ATHLETIC GROUPS

• The McDonald Sideliners will meet at 7 p.m. Sunday in the senior citizens room of the post office building.

CLUBS

• Youngstown Torch Club will meet for a social at 5:30 p.m. and a 6 p.m. dinner Monday at Pete’s Place in Kilcawley Center, on the campus of Youngstown State University. • Holborn Herb Growers Guild will meet for refreshments at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Baird Cabin. Members are reminded to take tools for a garden cleanup at Boardman Park. and to dress appropriately for the weather. Hostesses will be Judy Summerlad, Rose Mary Pitzo, Pat Fedorchak and Kathy Mecak.

• Niles Chapter of the American Sewing Guild has scheduled the following meetings: Howland Happy Stitchers at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Living Lord Lutheran Church, 851 Niles-Cortland Road, Howland, for a T-shirt tote demonstration; and Southington So-Sews at 9:30 a.m. April 27 at Southington Christian Church, 3285 state Route 534, for a knitting needle monogramming demonstration.

• The Croatian Lodge No. 598 will meet at 12:45 p.m. Sunday in the senior citizens room, post office building.

• Mothers of the Crucifix Society of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church will meet at 1:15 p.m. Sunday at the lower church hall with Elizabeth Mirone presiding. Plans will be discussed for an anniversary dinner on May 3. Refreshments will be served.
