Hundreds turn out for Lifeline event at Chevy Centre

A Life Line To Valley Workers event was held at the Chevrolet Centre.

YOUNGSTOWN — Hundreds of people are seeking help today at the Chevrolet Centre by attending Lifeline to Valley Workers.

Training organizations are offering suggestions on how people can brush up on their job skills, and social service organizations are providing assistance such as credit counseling, advice on mortgage refinancing and help with utility bills.

The event was organized by the United Auto Workers and the local One-Stop employment agencies. The event runs until 6 p.m.
