Fasline, Firm help lift Campbell past Girard
CAMPBELL — George Fasline and Kyle Firm each had two hits and one RBI for the Campbell High baseball team, which defeated Girard 4-3 in an All-American Conference Blue Tier game on Monday.
Nicco Magnolia and Dave Benadis doubled while winning pitcher Raul Pizzaro had four strikeouts and two walks for the Red Devils (1-1, 1-0).
For the Indians (2-2, 0-2), Daniel Gainey had two hits.
Niles 14, Struthers 4
NILES — Nick Charnas went 3-for-3 with three runs scored to lead Niles, which broke the game open with seven runs in the second inning.
Nick Harper added two hits, two runs and four RBIs and Nic Mientkiewicz had two hits and two runs for the Red Dragons.
Jake Thomas and Brian Palmer each scored a run and drove in a run for Struthers.
Liberty 3, Beaver Local 2
LISBON — Winning pitcher Marc Stanovcak struck out eight and walked none for the Leopards (2-3, 2-0 AAC White).
Jared Wiesen’s two hits included a double. He scored a run and drove in another. Joe Tamarkin and Matt Britton had RBIs.
Beaver Local is 5-3.
LaBrae 7, Brookfield 0
LEAVITTSBURG — Jacob Jaros and Mike Morris teamed up to no-hit the Warriors (0-3).
Jaros struck out eight and walked none for the Vikings (2-2, 1-1 AAC Blue).
Dale Hinzman and Zach Ewing drove in runs while Alex Warne doubled.
Mooney 6, Akron Hoban 4
STRUTHERS — Owen Timlin, Nick Vazquez and Dan Eich each doubled to lead Mooney (4-0).
Vazquez tossed a four-hitter to get the win.
Hoban is 0-3.
Canfield 10, Immaculate Heart (N.Y.) 2
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Joe Hoezel’s three run homer and Jake Kucek’s two-run triple led the Cardinals (4-0).
Tom Cheslik drove in two runs, Nick Reinthaler had two doubles and Jared Turocy had two hits.
Winning pitcher Ron Sallivan struck out eight batters over five innings.

SALINEVILLE — Drew Skelley had three hits and five RBIs, while Anthony Schiraldi and Ryan Whinery each had two hits for Lowellville (6-3-1, 4-1-1 Inter Tri-County League Tier Two).
Anthony Kastor singled, doubled and homered for Southern and Dylan Puckett had two hits.

LISBON — Winning pitcher Mike Thorpe tossed a one-hitter, striking out eight and walking three for the Raiders (3-6, 2-2 ITCL Tier One).
Chris Gause’s two hits included a double and he scored a run. Gerrad Rohan had three hits and scored a run. Don DeChellis had two hits and one RBI.
McDonald 11, Jackson-Milton 0
McDONALD — Alex Baker pitched a four-hit shutout with eight strikeouts and no walks to lead McDonald (5-0, 4-0 ITCL Tier Two).
Anthony Raschilla singled, homered and drove in five runs, while David John added two hits.
Springfield 21, Chaney 2
NEW MIDDLETOWN — Todd Kibby tripled while Frank Sferra hit two doubles for the Tigers.
Also with doubles were Bryan Visingardi and Dylon DeJane.
Mathews 3, Ledgemont 0
THOMPSON — Rick Sommers tossed a two-hit shutout, striking out 10 and walking one, to lead Mathews (4-0, 2-0 NAC).
Chris Morgan had two hits and Corey Lumley doubled for the Mustangs.
Steve Doremus struck out six and walked seven to get the loss.
