56 area educators are Ohio Master teachers

BOARDMAN — A total of 56 area teachers have earned the designation of Ohio Master Teacher.

The educators, representing 15 different schools, demonstrate excellence both inside and outside the classroom through consistent leadership and focused collaboration to maximize student learning.

The Ohio Master Teacher program was developed by the Ohio Educator Standards Board in response to legislation mandating the creation of the designation and the criteria that must be met to achieve it.
