Youngstown schools set “Rally for Success”


YOUNGSTOWN — Parents and guardians of Youngstown city school children are invited to “A Rally for Success” at 9:15 a.m. Monday at Williamson Elementary School, 58 Williamson Ave.

The rally is to encourage children to perform well on the Ohio Achievement Test and elicit parental and guardian support toward that effort. Testing begins on Tuesday.

Mayor Jay Williams, Superintendent Wendy Webb, state Sen. Joe Schiavoni of Canfield, D-33rd, and others will address the rally.
