One lane this week: Route 224 over Mill Creek in Boardman

BOARDMAN — U.S. Route 224 eastbound over Mill Creek will be reduced to one lane this week for the placement of temporary pavement. Once the temporary pavement work has been completed, Route 224 over Mill Creek will be reduced to two lanes in the eastbound direction and one lane in the westbound direction. Pinewood Drive as well as the adjacent drive to Mill Creek Park at 224 will close in late April. This work is part of an $800,000 project to replace the existing bridge deck on the Route 224 bridge over Mill Creek. The entire project is scheduled to be complete by late September 2009.
