Free concert is fundraiser

OPERATION BLESSING: Canfield Community Band will present a free concert for the public at 3 p.m. April 19 at Canfield High School Auditorium. Those attending are encouraged to take canned goods, household staples or monetary donations for Operation Blessing, an organization sponsored by Canfield churches in an effort to provide food for needy families in Mahoning County. Joining in a concerted effort to make the event a success, are, from left, Monica Detwiler; Bob Lohr; Betty Brindiar, a representative of Operation Blessing; and Ken Cooley.
