MAHONING COUNTY

Celtic Healthcare offers hot, nutritious meals at noon weekdays at nine locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance, and transportation is available. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, April 15: Sausage link with peppers and onions on a wiener bun with ketchup, zesty potatoes, diced pears, birthday cake, and milk.

Thursday, April 16: Penne pasta with meatballs, French green beans, shredded lettuce with Italian dressing, garlic bread, mixed fruit, and milk.

Friday, April 17: Tuna macaroni salad, cottage cheese, three-bean salad, unsweetened peach half, wheat roll with margarine, grape juice, and milk.

Saturday, April 18: Cold cut sandwich on a hamburger bun with mustard and mayonnaise, coleslaw, and macaroni salad.

Monday, April 20: Ham slice with pineapple, twice-baked potatoes, sliced carrots, wheat bread with margarine, fresh orange, and milk.

Tuesday, April 21: Chicken cacciatore, mashed potatoes, lima beans, rye bread with margarine, gelatin with fruit, and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.25 per meal.

Wednesday, April 15: Mild rope sausage with peppers and onions on a bun with ketchup, zesty potatoes, sweetened or unsweetened diced pears, birthday cake or angel food cake, and milk.

Thursday, April 16: Penne pasta with meatballs and Parmesan cheese packet, French green beans, tossed salad with Italian dressing, garlic bread, sweetened or unsweetened mixed fruit, and milk.

Friday, April 17: Tuna macaroni salad, cottage cheese, three-bean salad, unsweetened peach half, wheat roll with margarine, grape juice, and milk.

Monday, April 20: Ham slice with pineapple, twice-baked potatoes, carrots, wheat bread with margarine, fresh orange, and milk.

Tuesday, April 21: Chicken cacciatore, mashed potatoes, lima beans, rye bread with margarine, gelatin or sugar free gelatin with fruit, and milk.
