Beatitude House plans to auction items online

YOUNGSTOWN — Beatitude House will launch an online auction April 20 to raise funds for disadvantaged women.

Items available for bidding include tickets to San Francisco 49ers vs. Indianapolis Colts in Indianapolis, complete with airline tickets, hotel accommodations, field passes and 49ers memorabilia; tickets to an Ohio State Football game; use of condos in Florida; passes to the Muirfield Men’s Golf Tournament; American Girl Dolls and much more.

Visit www.beatitudehouse.com on April 20 to view these items and start bidding.

“This is the first time we have extended our auction online,” said Development Director Teresa Boyce. “This year, prior to the event, the public can bid on the items and help raise money for the homeless women and children we serve.”

Plans continue for the Beatitude House 10th Annual Wine Taste and Auction, at 6 p.m. May 1 at the Embassy in Boardman. Platinum sponsors include The Frank & Pearl Gelbman Foundation, Muransky Companies, Verla International, Clear Channel Radio and WKBN/WYFX TV.

The evening, to be hosted by Jeff Kelly from WBBG FM 106.1, includes a dinner buffet, representatives from area wine distributors, a live auction conducted by Paul Basinger, as well as silent and Chinese auctions.

Tickets for the event are $75, or $600 for a table of eight. To buy tickets, call Beatitude House at (330) 744-3147.
