BOARDMAN — Sophomore pitcher Alex DiDomenco pitched a no-hitter with 17 strikeouts and slugged a home run to spur Boardman (4-0, 1-0 Federal League) at the Field of Dreams. Brooke Meenachan had a double and single while Shannon Morrow had two singles. The Falcons are 1-1, 0-1.
Girard 3, Lakeview 2
GIRARD — Missy Weitzman hit a two-run homer and Lisa Holmes contributed two hits for the Indians (1-3). Holmes (1-3) struck out five and walked two. For the Bulldogs (1-3), Raelynn Burns hit a two-run double while Abbey Bensing and Mackenzie Palette had two hits each. Palette (0-2) struck out nine and walked three.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — The Tigers (6-1) got two hits from Abby Nicholas.
Nordonia 9, Canfield 2
AKRON — Michelle Bascombe drove in three runs for Nordonia (4-2) at the Ohio Invitational Tournament. For the Cardinals (3-1), Sarah Vrabel doubled and Kasey McMurray had a RBI single.
Champion 4, Salem 1
SALEM — Morgan White’s two hits drove in two runs for the undefeated Golden Flashes (4-0). Winning pitcher Lindsay Swipas doubled, struck out 15 Quakers and walked two. Also with two hits were Katie Saluga and Tawney Rogers. For the Quakers (0-3), Candace Halter singled and scored on an error.
Ursuline 6, Marlington 0
BAZETTA — Junior Casey Lower had an 11-strikeout one-hitter for the Irish (3-1).
Juniors Anna Donko had three hits and three RBIs, Sarah Ingalls had three singles and Krista Byers had two singles as part of Ursuline’s 11-hit attack. Lauren Reiter had the lone hit for Marlington — a misjudged fly ball in the outfield in the fifth inning. Lower put out 21 of the 23 hitters she faced.
Struthers 11, LaBrae 2
STRUTHERS — Ashley Baron hit a three-run homer while Jackie Deem, Sam Basista and Lauren Perry all had two hits for the Wildcats. Ellen Becker scattered five hits to pick up the win. Kelsie Daniel had two of LaBrae’s five hits.

McDONALD — Julie Franko’s triple in the top of the ninth inning scored Cat Kelk, who had walked with two outs, with the winning run as Jackson-Milton (2-0) edged McDonald. Lindsey Knipp scattered six hits to pick up the win, striking out 15, while McDonald’s Kaitlin Rutushin allowed just two hits, while striking out 13 to suffer the loss. Emily Magill had three hits including a double for the Blue Devils.
Western Reserve 20, Wellsville 0
BERLIN CENTER — Elizabeth Srock pitched a one-hit shutout and drove in eight runs with four hits including a home run and double to lead Western Reserve. Srock struck out 11 batters and walked two. Presley Cummings tripled and Kailyn Mawery and Chelsea Kroda each had a double.
Sebring 4, Lowellville 2
LOWELLVILLE — Emily Dickens pitched a two-hitter as Sebring rallied early and then held off Lowellville. Taylor Bailey led the offense with two doubles, while Chantel Fox and Taylor Ward also had two hits for the Trojans (4-2, 4-0 Inter tri-County League Tier Two).
South Range 18, Youngstown Christian 1
NORTH LIMA — Tabitha Stanton slammed a triple, double and single and drove in four runs to lead South Range (2-3). Madison Yanek had a two-run homer, triple and three RBIs. Megan Beachley contributed a double, two singles and three RBIs for the Raiders. Chelsea Leson pitched a one-hitter with seven strikeouts.
Southeast 12-10, Ravenna 1-0
RAVENNA — Two sparkling pitching performances by Shannon Hamilton and Kayla Williams led Southeast (2-0) to a sweep of a doubleheader from Ravenna. Hamilton scattered five hits and struck out nine in the opener. Williams allowed just three hits in the nightcap. Hamilton also had a three singles in the opener and a double and two RBIs in the second game.
