Candlelight vigil set for Forum Health

YOUNGSTOWN — Forum Health employees will join with community leaders at 7 tonight for a candlelight vigil at the entrance to the Northside Medical Center campus, 500 Gypsy Lane, to send a message of solidarity to keep the health system united.
Employees are vested in the success of the Forum Health system as a whole, union leaders said.
Union members have spent upward of 20 years at Northside and Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, and recognize how important Northside hospital as part of the Forum Health system is to this the community, leaders added.
“We are committed to working with Forum Health to continue to deliver the same high-quality, nationally recognized health care that this community has come to rely on,” said Becky Williams, president of Service Employees International Union Local 1199, sponsor of the vigil.
The SEIU represents some 1,200 Forum employees.
